Vacuum system

The purpose of the vacuum system is to deliver vacuum to the teat end to remove milk and generate pulsation needed to massage the teat. The vacuum is also used to control Automatic Cluster Removal (ACR) cylinders and operate the entry and exit gates in some cases.
It is extremely important to maintain stable vacuum at required level at the teat end. It can be ensured by:
-
fitting in vacuum pumps with enough reserve,
-
placing a balance tank to eliminate vacuum fluctuations during cluster attachment and detachment,
-
using sensitive and fast-acting vacuum regulator,
-
building two separate looped vacuum lines in the parlour ? vacuum line to provide pulsation at the teat end and operate the ACR solenoids, and pulsation line to generate pulsation for massaging the teat.
